Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and emerging industry paradigms
- Facilitate strategic workshops with cross-functional teams to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech integration)
- Measure and report on innovation KPIs and ROI of strategic foresight activities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of innovation initiatives on business outcomes
