What you'll achieve: Define and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+, drive R&D initiatives in AI/quantum/IoT ecosystems, establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies. You'll report directly to the CTO and influence our $500M innovation portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology strategy focusing on 2026+ innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen AI/quantum/IoT solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global research labs
- Translate emerging tech trends into scalable business models
- Drive $10M+ R&D initiatives with measurable ROI targets
- Mentor technical teams in future-proof architecture principles
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (AI/quantum/IoT)
- Proven track record of launching $50M+ innovation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Experience with global research ecosystems and academic partnerships
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., TOGAF, CTO Academy preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
