Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging technologies including AI ethics, quantum applications, and carbon-neutral tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to secure $50M+ innovation budget for 2026 initiatives
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members with data-driven impact analysis
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers in cutting-edge prototyping
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized AI/quantum solutions
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in technology lifecycle management and patent portfolio development
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech standards
- Exceptional stakeholder management with Fortune 500 executive experience
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
