Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum, bio-computing)
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Drive R&D investments and partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership
- Mentor innovation champions across engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ at director level
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, whitepapers)
- Experience scaling global innovation programs across 50+ countries
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
