Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technology disruption
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum) and market trends
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive stakeholders
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
