Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, AGI) with disruptive potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate technology strategy into corporate vision and investment decisions
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech innovation
- Manage cross-functional R&D sprints focused on prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Present strategic insights to investors, boards, and industry thought leaders
- Build and lead a specialized foresight team of technology analysts and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Strong background in ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic narratives
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing cross-functional teams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
