Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AR/VR, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Analyze global tech patents and research publications to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout and integrate breakthrough startups
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI tracking for innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech and venture capital communities
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy (e.g., CDMP, CTO Academy)
