- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies with $1M+ annual R&D budget
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform high-stakes investment decisions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members, driving consensus on future initiatives
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative innovation
- Mentor a team of 5+ engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
