What you'll do: Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3), develop 5-year innovation roadmaps, secure $10M+ in R&D funding, and mentor a team of 12 specialists. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives while maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-7 year commercial viability
- Develop and execute multi-phase innovation roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product designers
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology strategy to investors and board members quarterly
- Drive R&D investment allocation across quantum, AI, and biotech verticals
- Ensure compliance with emerging tech regulations (NIST AI frameworks)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in executive leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech products ($100M+ ARR)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/Web3)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding
