- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven frameworks
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for rapid prototyping and validation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact in emerging domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech verticals (quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive experience at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech startup
- Published research or patents in disruptive technologies
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., APF, Foresight Practitioner)
- Mastery of strategic frameworks like Horizon Scanning and Delphi Method
