Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech, neuromorphic computing) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends to inform strategic decisions and competitive positioning
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects in next-gen methodologies
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative R&D
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record in developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner, Certified Innovation Professional)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive boards and securing strategic funding
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
