Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with emerging quantum, AI, and bio-convergence trends
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with 18-month commercialization horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs to accelerate R&D cycles
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neuro-interfaces
- Present visionary technology briefings to C-suite and board members with actionable implementation plans
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience scaling technical teams from concept to market leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology predictions
