Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research for commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Partner with policy advisors on ethical AI and regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists through our Tech Vanguard program
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling emerging tech products (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Deep understanding of Moore's Law evolution and compute paradigms
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Experience with federal SBIR/STTR grants a major plus
