Responsibilities
- Identify and assess emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolio prioritization based on ROI and strategic impact
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in emerging technology evaluation or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, IFTF)
