Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, biotech, Web3) and map strategic adoption pathways
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build an internal innovation lab with $2M+ annual prototyping budget
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three future tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation journals
- Experience building and scaling innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
