Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps focusing on next-gen innovations
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Build and mentor an elite innovation lab team of 10+ specialists
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget through strategic partnerships and grants
- Monitor emerging tech trends (AR/VR, bioinformatics, edge computing) for competitive advantage
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and prototypes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML or blockchain solutions at scale
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Strong background in patent development and IP strategy
- Exceptional communication skills with executive/board experience
- Published research in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
