Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential through market research, patent analysis, and academic collaboration
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in our innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully launching technology-driven products or ventures
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research communities
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
