Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating cutting-edge innovations into product ecosystems
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain an innovation ecosystem with academia and industry partners
- Anticipate ethical implications and develop responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Expertise in emerging technologies with proven impact on business transformation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Business)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology innovation initiatives
- Understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
