Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for strategic adoption
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional implementation teams for pilot programs in AI ethics, climate tech, and space exploration
- Secure $10M+ annual innovation budgets through executive stakeholder management
- Publish industry thought leadership in Nature Technology Review and similar venues
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and technology architects
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and DARPA
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Robotics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent impact)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies ($50M+ revenue impact)
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI, genetic engineering, and space tech
- Published research in top-tier journals (IEEE, Science, Nature)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Certification in Futures Studies (CFP) from World Future Society
