Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies
- Secure strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to the board and executive stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products with $10M+ revenue
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis
- Experience with agile methodologies and innovation frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
