Responsibilities
- Architect 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 5+ year adoption curves
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Translate technical concepts into executive-level business recommendations
- Establish KPIs for measuring emerging technology ROI and adoption
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., AI, quantum, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Exceptional data synthesis and strategic communication skills
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating tech strategy implementations
