As a Future Technologies Strategist, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D labs, and global partners to transform theoretical possibilities into market-ready innovations. You'll analyze market disruptions, evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence), and develop implementation frameworks that align with our 2026 strategic vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Analyze emerging market disruptions and competitive technology landscapes
- Design implementation frameworks for emerging tech adoption across global markets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage innovation pipeline with KPI-driven technology maturity assessments
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven experience developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CEIM)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management with executive-level presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
