You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate futuristic concepts into scalable solutions that redefine industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) and assess strategic viability
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps with clear adoption milestones and ROI projections
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for disruptive technologies in partnership with R&D teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption impact and competitive advantage
- Build and nurture partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting future deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and driving adoption cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., generative AI, neurotech, decentralized systems)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts simply
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Experience building cross-functional innovation teams and managing R&D budgets >$5M
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or futurism
- Global network of tech innovators and venture capital relationships
