- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D budget allocation for futuristic initiatives
- Anticipate societal impacts and ethical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech ventures from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field with peer-reviewed publications
- Certification in futures thinking or technology foresight
- Experience working with exponential organizations and complex systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
