Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and resource allocation for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (e.g., launched 3+ breakthrough products)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech environments
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute of the Future) or equivalent
- Published research or patents in transformative technologies
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
