Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with global market trends and emerging scientific paradigms
- Lead cross-functional teams of AI researchers, quantum engineers, and sustainability specialists in moonshot projects
- Secure $50M+ in funding through white papers, investor pitches, and technology roadshows
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions for collaborative R&D
- Anticipate disruptive technologies through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Present strategic frameworks to the board and executive leadership quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and patent development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven impact in exponential tech (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Track record of launching products/services with $100M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for deep tech
- Fluency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and generative AI frameworks
