Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Define and articulate the long-term technological roadmap for Nexus Future Labs, specifically targeting innovations relevant to the 2026 era.
- R&D Leadership: Lead high-priority Research & Development initiatives, overseeing the transition from theoretical concepts to viable prototypes.
- Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor global technological shifts, including AI advancements and quantum leaps, to forecast market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and design teams to integrate future-proof solutions into current roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Management: Present complex technological concepts to C-suite executives and investors, securing buy-in for ambitious innovation projects.
- Patent Strategy: Identify patentable opportunities arising from R&D work to protect the company's intellectual property.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a strategic R&D or innovation role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of identifying and executing on disruptive technology trends.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, high-performance teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
