Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for technologies expected to mature by 2026, including Generative AI and Quantum Readiness.
- Conduct deep-dive research into emerging tech trends and assess their viability for commercial application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate futuristic concepts into scalable product architectures.
- Lead white-boarding sessions to prototype solutions for complex, undefined future problems.
- Advocate for ethical AI and responsible innovation within the organization.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects on forward-thinking methodologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, or engineering leadership.
- Proven track record of working with cutting-edge technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, Blockchain, IoT).
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to visualize long-term technological shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams through periods of rapid technological change.
