Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement and manage VPN/firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integrations
- Provide Tier 3 support during critical outages
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and security audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification required (CCIE preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Valid Illinois driver's license for on-site visits
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
