Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect data integrity and system access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related concerns
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and VMware technologies
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duties
