Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Write clean, testable code using TDD principles and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and ensure system security best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Ability to solve complex problems with elegant, scalable solutions
