Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues rapidly
- Develop test plans and strategies for new feature releases
- Perform regression testing to ensure product stability after updates
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Maintain detailed test documentation and metrics reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression testing)
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and basic SQL queries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule availability (evenings, weekends, or early mornings)
