Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot local and wide-area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructures.
- Perform regular network audits, security assessments, and system backups to ensure data integrity.
- Configure and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topology, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy software updates and security patches.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding network usage.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network administration or engineering.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network security protocols and firewall configuration.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, non-traditional schedule.
