Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance backend systems for real-time Equity Options trading engines.
- Monitor system health proactively and resolve critical incidents during weekend operations to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts to optimize algorithmic execution strategies and reduce latency.
- Implement and enforce rigorous security protocols and data integrity checks for sensitive financial assets.
- Participate in architectural design discussions and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Document complex system architectures and operational procedures for the weekend support team.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with a focus on high-frequency or low-latency systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically Equity Options and derivatives.
- Experience with Linux environments, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Proven ability to work rotating weekend shifts and be on-call for critical incidents.
