Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of equity options trading systems using C++ and Python
- Optimize algorithms for sub-microsecond latency in high-frequency trading environments
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement complex pricing models
- Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing and monitoring of production systems
- Lead technical initiatives for real-time market data processing and risk management
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality and architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in low-latency software development
- Expertise in C++ and Python with strong understanding of concurrency
- Deep knowledge of equity options pricing models and financial markets
- Experience with Linux kernel development and network optimization
- Proven track record in building scalable trading systems at financial institutions
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and exchange connectivity solutions
