Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our equity options trading engine.
- Optimize database queries and data pipelines to handle high-volume market data.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement and test trading strategies.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in live and test trading environments.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews and agile sprint planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (Python, Java, or C++).
- Strong understanding of financial markets, specifically Equity Options and derivatives.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity while meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
