Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance C++/Java modules for options pricing algorithms and risk management systems
- Optimize trading infrastructure for sub-microsecond latency in equity derivatives execution
- Develop real-time market data pipelines handling 100K+ messages per second
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to model complex option strategies
- Ensure 99.99% system uptime through robust failover and disaster recovery protocols
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in low-latency financial systems development
- Expert proficiency in C++/Java with multithreading and network programming
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Experience with FIX protocol and exchange connectivity
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel tuning and performance optimization
