Responsibilities
- Architect and implement low-latency equity options pricing engines and risk management systems
- Develop real-time market data processing pipelines for options chains and implied volatility surfaces
- Design high-throughput trading platforms handling OTC and exchange-listed derivatives
- Optimize C++/Python code for microsecond-level execution in production environments
- Collaborate with quants to implement Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo, and exotic option models
- Ensure regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA) in trading system design and monitoring
- Lead system scalability initiatives supporting exponential growth in options volume
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in financial software development, specifically equity derivatives
- Expertise in C++ and Python with proven low-latency system optimization
- Deep understanding of options pricing models, volatility surfaces, and Greeks calculations
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix, TCP/IP networking, and high-frequency trading architectures
- Experience with FIX protocols, market data feeds (ITCH/ITCHv4.1), and exchange connectivity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex multi-threaded systems
