Responsibilities
- Analyze high-volume equity options data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in derivatives markets.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive weekend performance reports for the trading desk and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to model potential outcomes based on historical options data.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting systems used for equity options valuation.
- Develop automated scripts to streamline the extraction and cleaning of financial datasets.
- Monitor market volatility indices and correlate them with options pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the equity options or derivatives sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
- Experience with financial modeling tools and Bloomberg Terminal or similar platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible weekend shift and handle high-pressure deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
