As a key member of our analytics division, you will be responsible for processing vast datasets related to equity options, identifying market trends, and building visualizations that empower our trading floor to make data-driven decisions. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process high-volume equity options data from multiple market feeds and exchanges.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Design and implement interactive dashboards (using Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize options flow, open interest, and volatility trends for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders to identify anomalies and optimize trading strategies based on data patterns.
- Perform statistical analysis to assess risk and return profiles of various options strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting systems and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the financial services or options trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Deep understanding of equity options, derivatives, and market terminology (Greeks, strike prices, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical teams.
