Responsibilities
- Equity Options Analysis: Perform in-depth quantitative analysis of equity options data to identify pricing discrepancies, volatility trends, and arbitrage opportunities.
- Data Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, clean, and normalize data from various market exchanges.
- Modeling & Reporting: Build and maintain financial models and dashboards (using Tableau, PowerBI, or Python) to visualize complex option chains and Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta).
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market conditions and news events to assess their potential impact on option pricing and volatility surfaces.
- Collaboration: Partner with quantitative researchers and traders to interpret data findings and support strategic decision-making processes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data feeds and reports through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the financial services sector, with a focus on equity options or derivatives.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), and experience with data visualization tools.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial), Greeks, and market mechanics.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and derive actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
