Responsibilities
- Analyze high-volume equity options data, including Open Interest, Volume, Implied Volatility, and Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega).
- Build and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and cleaning processes.
- Develop interactive PowerBI or Tableau dashboards to present actionable insights to the trading floor and stakeholders.
- Identify and report on pricing anomalies, liquidity gaps, and potential market manipulation patterns.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to refine pricing models based on historical data analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial data analysis, specifically focusing on Equity Options or Derivatives.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL for complex data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and market mechanics.
- Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
