Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale equity options datasets to identify trends, pricing anomalies, and market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize complex financial metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to refine models and improve trading performance.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reporting systems.
- Automate routine data processing tasks using Python or SQL to increase operational efficiency.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis on option portfolios to assess risk exposure.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership regarding market conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or options trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for statistical analysis.
- Deep understanding of equity options, Greeks, and option pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes).
- Excellent visual storytelling skills with tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
