Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale equity options data, including open interest, volume, and implied volatility trends.
- Design and implement robust ETL pipelines to ingest high-frequency market data from multiple sources.
- Develop statistical and machine learning models to forecast market movements and assess risk exposure.
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to support decision-making for the trading floor.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to refine algorithmic trading strategies based on market insights.
- Maintain data integrity and perform quality assurance checks on all financial datasets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting options markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within the financial services sector, specifically focusing on options or derivatives trading.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including the Black-Scholes model, Greeks, and market microstructure.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings clearly.
