Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and verify equity options data from various market data feeds and internal sources.
- Assist in the maintenance and updating of our proprietary database systems.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on option volume, open interest, and implied volatility.
- Identify and correct data discrepancies to ensure 100% data integrity for trading decisions.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to understand data requirements and optimize reporting formats.
- Learn and document standard operating procedures for data entry and analysis.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss market trends and data anomalies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Google Suite.
- Basic understanding of financial terminology and stock market concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and meet tight deadlines.
