Responsibilities
- Analyze high-volume equity options data to identify trends, patterns, and arbitrage opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data pipelines.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau or PowerBI) for senior traders and risk management teams.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to validate pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations).
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting systems.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis on volatility smiles and implied volatility surfaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or equity options sector.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of options pricing theory and market mechanics.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
