Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets of Equity Options to identify market opportunities and risks.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using SQL, Python, and R.
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to optimize hedging strategies based on data insights.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor real-time market data feeds and adjust analytical models accordingly.
- Conduct A/B testing on different data processing algorithms to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Equity Options or derivatives markets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, specifically options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js.
