Responsibilities
- Analyze vast datasets of equity options and derivatives to identify market trends and pricing anomalies.
- Develop and maintain Python/R scripts and SQL queries to automate data extraction and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to create interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI.
- Validate and clean financial data to ensure accuracy in risk assessment and reporting.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis on option portfolios to evaluate risk exposure.
- Document data models and analysis methodologies to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the equity options or derivatives market.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R.
- Experience with financial data APIs (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
