Responsibilities
- Perform complex data analysis on equity option chains to identify profitable trading patterns and market inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Python and visualization tools to track real-time market data and portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to refine pricing models and hedging strategies based on historical data.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis on option portfolios to assess risk exposure and potential losses.
- Clean, transform, and model large datasets to support high-level decision-making processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to options trading volume and volatility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or quantitative trading within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong understanding of equity options, derivatives, and financial market mechanics.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is highly desirable.
