Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of equity options market data to identify trends, anomalies, and pricing inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and processing workflows.
- Build interactive dashboards (using tools like Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize options flow and risk metrics for stakeholders.
- Model complex option strategies, calculating key Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega) to assess market exposure.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document data models and analysis processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or equity derivatives sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
- Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and market terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
